I'm only 14 years old and I have a lot of trouble with lower back pain. After researching a little bit on it, I've found that out of the 3 common types of lower back pain, I have the "nonspecific pain." It is only limited to the lower back. Twisting, stretching, lying down, bending forward or backwards does not help the pain. Though lying in fetal position relieves it. I haven't talked to the doctor about this yet (though I know I should). So far I haven't found the cause of lower back pain, but I would like to know how to help it without the use of any medication (I try to avoid medication). Anyways, I feel very uncomfortable sitting down for a long time like at school, and bending over on the chair to do my assignments. I can't avoid doing this since I have to sit down most of the day, and sit down at home doing homework. The pain goes off and on, but I really need help for when it occurs. I have a hard time concentrating because of it, and I just don't know what to do.

Have you tried to ask for a specific massage that can ease your back pain? I see massage as an effective way when it comes to treating back pain.

don't confuse what medicine specializes in, the useless describing and categorizing of illness, for what is truly of value, the knowledge of how to correct it's cause. see an hio method chiropractor if you actually want to get well.
